Congrats Greg aka Grnamin for finishing the race at least you finished not like jontot who bonk 15 minutes into the race and had to DNF. It was not my day and I knew that I wasn't ready to race but I gave it a shot and didn't work. Sorry Moe you skipped this race, this was your chance to catch me and slap me from behind. ;D As for other tribesmen/women, they did very well. Erwin H. took another Gold in CAT 3 30-39 and Lia bagged her second Silver medal this year in her Category. Lia almost get the Gold but had to stop and fix her front break. As for our CAT 2 teammates Bigboy and Poisonarrow did very well too. Bigboy finished his first lap second place but he had another bad luck and had a flat tire. So both Bigboy and Poisonarrow finished 5th and 6th place out of 12 racers. Congrats again to all of you who finished the race and to Erwin H. and Lia for making it to the podium again. I will see you guys in the bottleride and the leafblower. P.S. Special thanks to ECG, Tagaman and my sister for feeding us after the race.

Thank you all for the support and thank you Jon, BigBoy, Danny, Greg and Lia for the good company and cheering. I was not really expecting it, I didn't even bother to pre-ride the course. There were no plans no nothing this time, the mission was to stay top 5 just to protect the overall lead. Started really slow and gassed with those steep climbs, feeling good after 3 miles and the rest was history. Not as hard when you don't want it so badly even though my lead was only 1 second from the second placer. Congratulations to Lia for placing 2nd and to BigB and Danny for finishing strong in the cat 2. You're almost there BigB, if it wasn't for the badluck it's already a sure podium. As for Greg you did well man! You braved yourself with that very technical race couse and finished it without a scratch! @jontot there's always a next time Jon and sorry I have to leave early.

Thank you! This was more fun than Darkhorse because I didn't crash. This was much rougher than Darkhorse. My bike was like a bucking bronco on the downhills. I can now do rodeo as a second career. Lia overtook me again! I blinked and she was right next to me. I blinked again and she was cresting one of the hills already. Congratulations to all. Here are a couple of pictures:

Hey BigB I'm planning to skip jungle habitat. I'll race the last one ringwood just to stay in that overall lead. Jon said that they'll only pick 7 races for the standings. I don't like jh anyway, not really a good course for hardtail bikes. I think it's good if we ride roady next weekend? Bear mountain?

This is my favorite photo It was good meeting some familiar faces at Blue. I was a bit disappointed with my 11th, but I had super fun riding the course regardless. It looks like I got a lot of practicing to do on the rocks. Looking forward to the next 2 races.
