Hey Erwin, that is a valid question. We agreed that Weekday time trials event will not have a conflict with other races or events that are scheduled over the weekend.

I'm not sure about that argument Levi but for me, I think weekends are the best day to have a race. More people have weekend days off and besides chp is a very nice trail to race, it's not too technical, it's flowy and fast. I'm sure a lot of mtbrs will pick it. That's why taconic, Morristown and 6 hour race have a lot of racers because of the trail itself. Just my 2 cents. |

I completely understand your point. We looked into weekend scheduling and sure enough there are conflicts with weekend races in June and other CLIMB events. Once the permit had been issued, we can only use that day for that permit and had to reapply for another date (processing takes a minimum of 30 day wait + processing fee). Hopefully, NYC Parks is not spraying herbicides that day. I am just throwing that in there. ;D Just an FYI. We have another CLIMB Race committee in place (Westie) which will be doing a Time Trial Series. It is going to be held on the East Side. Perhaps, that is another option.  |
