Just want to share few photos of my short trip in Germany. I rented a bike when I was there but can't find a decent bike rental place where I can get a nice road bike. I settled and rented a 40+ lbs. SS- city bike just to be able to ride around the town we stayed in Germany. I did not get to ride far as I felt I wasn't moving at all with my rented bike. ;D I just wish I had a decent road bike as we stayed in a very bike friendly town in Germany where most of the people ride their bikes. I saw different kinds of people on their bikes like old folks, kids, gorgeous ladies on their heels and even guys with open beer bottle in their hands. Everywhere I go there are always bike lanes or a path, there's a bike path that can go straight from where we stayed up to Amsterdam, Netherlands. They don't require wearing helmet here and seems no law against people drinking alcohol while riding their bikes or just plain public intoxication. It seems that most of the people here a very fit. The only thing was there are plenty of people here smokes cigarettes. You can buy cigarettes in the vending machines every couple of blocks. All in all, I did enjoy my short trip in Germany.

Nice vacation trip Jon! Thanks for sharing. My younger sister speaks fluent German. I love Germany they seem to have lots of castles and their food are excellent!

I really wanted to do some serious riding there Ratchet but can't find a decent rental bikes. But gotta wear the orange there.

Thanks btw! I remember your vacation in Florida when you, Loi and Ben were wairing the orange color while riding around Fl. ? Same thing with Lia she was wearing our jersey in Columbia last year.
