Just an FYI to all. The race course this year will be reverse from last years and it will be close to 7 miles/lap( they add 1 more mile). So the start of the race will be a punishing climb from the other side and cat 2 will be doing 2 laps instead of 3, cat 1 will be 3 laps instead of 4. Our problem is we did not pre-ride the course in reverse so we have no idea how punishing will the uphills be on a reverse course but from what i read at mtbnj site. It will be a hell of a climb and a dare devil descend on some wash out area. Good luck to all of our racers.

Good Luck BigBoy and Erwin. Ride Hard but Be safe, it will be a big field on both your age group. If both of you can push it on the starting line and get to the first uphill ST you'll avoid the bottle neck and get stuck in front of the weaker racer.

Congrats to our Machines for making it to the top ten in CAT 2 in their age group. More than 30 racers in each of their age group. Erwin got 6th place and Bigboy got 7th place eventhough he had few chain skipping mechanical.

Thanks Jon but i think their official time on me was not correct, my time was 2 hrs and almost a minute i think. My garmin shows a different time and its a minute or so difference which sucks. Seconds difference will be fine but this is too much. Anyway it's over now, no wonder the mc at the race kept saying if there's any protest or it will be official. crap! Congrats to BigB for finishing strong, man you should put the granny back. I don't trust chain keepers. ;D
