as what like Jon said....I was almost that close and ready to HIT the register button that Friday around 6ish PM. But then prompted ME, and on my dismay, knowingly that I am on my weekend duty (every other weekend) that a "Weekend ALERT" pops up on our big screen here in the office. So that's it... was really looking forward to race LM in reverse....next year for sure!

here's a REVISION Team Jersey update inspired by Erwin's Peak Bikes shorts

Beri nice Chute! Let's order from Verge this time, their padding on the shorts are very comforftable.

We tried with ChampSys about that design to flow all the way to the short. But then ChampSys can't do it.

.....and maybe Verge can do it, but they have a new costumer 24 order minimums. It can be orders of 6 different kinds of cycling gear. So, Jon maybe when you get a chance...can you talk to Verge please. ;D

Nice CincoDos! Verge Sports looks better. I will try my best to give them a call coz Daddy Day Camp already started yesterday and I have 3 very demanding students. ;D Erwin H., maybe you can inquire about it, since it's already Summer for you. ;D

NO RUSH Jon....whenever you get a chance I know that 3 demanding students of yours are hooked with their P90x....hehehehe Verge is somehow more $$$ than Champs. I don't know how Jerry of Peak was able to sell their sets for a $100. Coz Verge tops already cost $80. Neways...here's a pic that you can use, when u deal with them....and hoping maybe they can work it out the way WE want it

I like they included the AVG. Speed. Both Erwin and BigB was in the 10+ mph avg.

Who's the Team Cunningham dominating the CAT 3? Look like the Koreans taking the CAT 3 this year.

Thanks Jon. Wow! I'm still so far away from top 5. The top 5 don't really go easy in the beginning, they just going at it from the start. If i were to stay with them, i don't think i can finish the 3 laps. I think the sandbaggers should move up now, if there's any. Lmao! ;D

Erwin doing 3 laps and having an avg. speed of 10+ mph is d**n fast...but the guy CincoDos beat last year, Segundo is freaking animal this year, he must really work his arse off the past winter. I would like to see CincoDos and Bigboy (no Mechanical) race with Segundo someday that would be a good one.

Jon I ride with BigB and 52 all the time but Segondo is a different animal this year. The guy passed me like I was standing still. Wtf? I don't how he did it but he was impressive.

You're not going to be a sweeper 52 but try and race the next one so you'll have a taste of how strong he is or just ask BigB. ;D Capers called him a machine. ;D ;D

He raced with a geared bike Jon in the 30-34 age group. I passed him in the last 2 miles of lap 3. ;D ;D

I'm just going to put my race recap guys even though its kind of late already. ;D

The first on the line in cat 2 was the ss group followed by geared starting with the youngest age group up to the oldest. There was a 1 minute interval on each age category. So i lined up on the race in the second row which i thought i was on the first row but anyway it will not matter as i can't keep up with them in the beginning. Started the race conservatively, i was in 10th or 12th place. I saw the front group pulling away, i stepped it up a little but figured out i can't keep up with them. So i just raced myself, i don't want to repeat what happened to me in tymor. I passed couple of people on the first uphill including Kalog, i was pacing myself this time. Halfway on the first lap there was a guy behind me saying can i go through, i said sure when i have a space i will. It was segundo flying I tried to stay with him but i can't if i will force myself, i will not be able to finish the 3 laps. So he left quick! At this time i kept looking back if Bigb was there but can't see him yet. Couple of 40-45 people passed me also. halfway on my second lap Bigb catch up with me and i told him go ahead Bigb I'm tired. He stretched the gap a little bit and kept telling me let's go Erwin but what i really want was just race myself. But luckily i came back at BigB. I stayed a bike length or 2 away from Bigb we finish the 2nd lap together. On the steep uphill on our 3rd lap i was able to pass BigB and i think 5 or so other riders. I was able to get a momentum on that small downhill when everybody was spinning on low gear already getting ready for the steep hill. On my second lap i walked a steep section on that uphill but this time i went to my trusted granny and just spinned it all the way to the top. I did not see the group of BigB anymore on the top, so probably they walked that section too. ;D ;D I don't know if i was feeling strong or just the other riders are really tired at this time but i passed more riders, i think i passed 15 or more since i passed BigB'b group including Capers group. At this time i said to myself, dang! i think i will podium this time. ;D ;D Lmao! I was happy and said to myself i will not let somebody pass me at this time anymore. I killed myself up to the finish line, thinking i podium. lol! When i got there i lay down on the table and my daughter asked me if i was okay, she looked at me with a worried face. lol! I said i was okay we are always like this after the race so don't worry. she also told Bigb that you looked very tired and dying. lol! ;D ;D Waited for the results thinking i might podium but was only 6th place. Anyway was still happy with it since i was only 8th place at Tymor. So there you go the SOMR(Story of my race)

I'm not sure how to get in the top 5 since my gap on the fifth place was almost 3 minutes i think. Anyway i will just keep training hard and hopefully will get there in the future.
