Thanks Ratchet! Congratulations to Danny again for finishing this grueling Bearscat 50 race. Thank you Danny for the company on the first 7 miles of the race and sorry for slowing you down during that time. lol I totally agree, I think this was the hardest course I've ever ridden in my life. We expected tons of boulders and plenty of rooty sections in Waway but the rain and the mud made the waway trail more challenging and treacherous. My last 8 miles of the 25 mile lap was just me and my bike trying to stay upright as the trail became more and more slippery. I probably crashed 4-5 times on my 25 mile ride. One of my spill, half of my body ended up submerge in a murky muddy water after I lost my front tire trying to cross those boulder bridge, I'm just lucky that Danny did not have his gopro camera or else I will be in his bloopers video. I was riding with this white dude on my last 7 miles and he was telling me that he was also done for the day and can't wait to get something to eat. We were talking whenever we passed each other and he was telling me that the race course in this race was insane and he's not a stranger in a long distance race. He said that he raced the Wilderness 101 in PA and he completed all 101 miles there but in Bearscat he quit after 25 miles. Danny when you mentioned that you think you were almost the last one to finished this race is because I saw plenty of racers quit after the first lap. ;D Anyway, I will think really really hard if I want to do this again next year. The suffer-fest here in Bearscat50 is totally different than the suffer-fest I experienced in DH40. In DH40 I always enjoy my suffering. LOL

I'm glad you had a wonderful day Boo. Good that you decided to throw your $65 fee in Bearscat and just join the Triple B event (hold did you really ride with the crew ;D ). I know you always tells me that you are real mountain biker so we don't want the real mountain biker's mtb get dirty. ;D Yup I remember when you were building your full suspension bike few months ago you told me that you have secret weapon for the Bearscat50 so you kick my behind. You should have just lend me your secret weapon, I'm sure your new baby sparke would like and enjoy the mud and rock treats in waway rather than the spider web in your garage. Bhuwahahahahaha! ;D ;D ;D

Good read jon. That was really a punishing 50 mile MTb race.
