My daughter got accepted in 8 colleges that she applied to. She narrowed her choices into 2 universities. 1) Brown University(Ivy league)= cost $60,000/ year 😭😢😥😰😓😳 2) Macualy honors college at Hunters= cost $0. Full scholarship including dormitory/ free Mac book pro/ free $7500 budget if you want to study abroad. If you're the dad which one who'd you pick? Honestly I can't afford Brown university. She wants to go to an ivy league but I'm trying to convince her that hunter is better b/c it's close at home and it's free. Lol She have a choice of financial aid/ student loan at ivy league but I don't want her to get into debt at early age. Man I wish I can win the mega millions this week. ;D ;D

Congrats to your daughter!
I know people personally who went to Ivy League Schools and the others went to Suny or Cuny Schools. They were all close friends from High Schools and all of them are smart, I guess. They are all successful people now in their own field, making 6 figures and own their own house/s My point is no matter what school you and your daughter decides to go to, I'm sure she will be successful in her future because she was brought up by her parents well. You are right Erwin, I think it's better for her to finish her college without a huge college loan.

@jon. Thanks I let her read your post and she calm down a little bit. But I don't blame her, she worked so hard to get to this point and now that she got accepted it's me that cannot afford.

Congrats to your daughter! I am sure you are a proud Dad!
I agree with Jon. Either school, she will excel! Just make sure she doesn't take cycling as a profession. LOL!
