That's nice but it's far? If you guys want some bad ass hills, I have some place where we can bring our family on vacation and we can ride road bikes and Mtb at the same time. The place is at Lake George NY, it doesn't have the 28% grade but it has a 25%. The prospect Mtn highway is like BM but its more than a 5 miles climb, they don't allow bikes there but we can sneak up in the early am before they open the park at the top around 10am I think. We can ride and climb hills and mountains as many miles as we like there! At the back of the prospect Mtn hwy is the Big hollow rd, it's really a trail for 4 wheel drive trucks but we can ride out mtbs there. it's also a climb but it's all dirt and rocks! About 4 miles or so climb, coming back down is like doing a DH! At night we can bring our family into LG town drink and have some fun or swim at the lake. It's almost summer!!! Actually I had a video that I posted here when i did the big hollow rd DH last year. This was my Big hollow rd Mtb ride connect.garmin.com/activity/108824491This is a very good route for road bike at Lake George, it includeds prospect mtn and the 25% grade climb. Just in case you and your fam go on vaca there. connect.garmin.com/activity/108290320

Me like the climbing. Yes, Lake George would be very cool.

Ratchet and I were talking about a BBQ ride here in my area sometime after Lewis Morris Race. I was thinking if we all park here by my house and end the ride here followed by a post ride BBQ at my house. I'm still looking for a nice scenic and challenging route that we don't even have to go up Bear Mountain. This is one of many route we can do from my house. Nice 69 miles with 6,100 feet of accumulated elevations. ridewithgps.com/routes/1211072Let me know if you guys interested.

It would be nice if we can do this in June or first weekend of July. Going on vaca on the second week of July, will not be back after 2 weeks.

I'm interested too. I was going to go and pre-ride Lewis Morris on June 17 but I can do the pre-ride some other day.

June 17 is not good for me. I have relatives over. The week after that is much preferred for me.

June 17 is Father's Day and I will also have a get-together with relatives.
We can do the "Pancit Velo Ride" on the 16th and BBQ after with FilAM Tri.

Oops! I didn't know the 17th is a Father's day so I guess scratch that date. It can't be on the 24th coz it's Lewis Morris race so this thing might be push to July.
