Twelve FilAmTris finished strong mostly in the sub- 12 and 13. Andrew is still the pinoy reigning king 3 years in a row.

I was in Lake George that weekend and decided to head up to Lake Placid to spectate and support our triathlete friends. I have two Ironman 70.3 events next month. After being in LP, it was so aspiring watching and cheering for them. I am more than convinced that I will be doing my first Ironman 140.6 in 2013.
Thanks guys!

Why dont you do NYCIM 2013? if you volunteer for 2012 next weekend actually it will garantee you spot.

bb - You are right, I got a 2013 guaranteed spot for volunteering this year.
tavo - We'll see how this event goes since it's local and the registration fee will be around $900 which is more expensive compared to other full Ironman events.
I'm still skeptical as I have Ironman Mont Tremblant in my mind meaning it's nice to see a new place outside NY to do my first 140.6 distance.

Sushi - yes NYCIM is more expensive for the registration but since it is local it comes out cheaper. Do NYCIM for 2013. We are all doing it. We also all want to do Mt Treblunt so we can do that on in 2014.
Are you going to the Ironman village for the opening dinner on Wednesday? BB, myself and a few others will be there at 5:30 pm.

Tavo, I will decide on Sunday when registration opens for 2013. I'm not 100% convinced yet because of the logistics of NYC-Ironman regarding the locations of start of swim, T1/T2 and finishline of 26.2. I think It'll be too much of a hassle also for spectators. Not to discourage anyone, it's just my own opinion. I am out of town and would not be able to attend dinner at Ironman Village tomorrow. Enjoy!
