here are a few suggestions for trails we can try the next few weekends we go riding outside of CHP. look 'em up at mtbr, or your favorite searches:
1) Hartshorne in NJ - fast, rolling hills, long climbs, long descents, not as tight as Glacier Ridge, but fun
2) Chimney Rock in NJ - like the name suggests, rocky, technical, climbs, descents, harder level CHP. hard, but can be alot of fun!
3) Round Valley in NJ - ohhhh, climbs that seem to never end, fast descents, excellent lung buster!
4) East Seatauket in L.I. - never been on this trail, but I heard great things about it! let's see!
5) Cathedral Pines in L.I. - again, another I've never been in. You guys want to see it?
let me know if you guys are interested and we'll set it up. not too familiar with Chimney and Round Valley, and for that, we'll have to wait for a friend of mine whose now training for a marathon, but should be back riding after May 4th. see you soon!

I'm down for anything as long as my better half don't plan any errands for me to do. And if you're saying that there are some " Climbs that seems to never end" I will need to bring a rope just in case 2fas4u needs to pull me up the hills. ;D

I was thinking of doing Hartshorne in NJ on Saturday morning, being that it seems to be the best day for the weekend, weatherwise. sunday didn't look too promising, according to the lying weatherman - more rainshowers. not sure if there's J&R steakhouse nearby, but I'm sure we'll find something closeby. takers?
p.s. I heard that Hartshorne drains well because it's hilly, so even if it showers/rains tonight, it should be a better ride than CHP or Stilly - as long as it's not raining tomorrow morning.

Working on Saturday 'till 3PM. I can make it on Sunday morning if you guys make some road trip plan.... wet or dry. I'll probably do some secret training of my own on Saturday afternoon after I get off from work. I'll probably go to Cunningham or Sprain Ridge.

tomorrow looks like it might be a washout. if it doesn't rain hard tonight, I might just go local, either CHP or Stilly. I guess we'll see...btw, nice riding today boys. turned out to be a good day for a ride at CHP.
