looking at this race course map it will be totally opposite of JH. There will be lots of downhill fireroad, IMO the only section that I might get off my bike is towards the end heading up to the race trail after the house in the map. There's also a small section in the course that I haven't been to. Anyway, I wish everyone who's racing the Leaf Blower in Ringwood good luck and may the strenght of Lance Armstrong be with us all. ;D BTW, for the sake of our team please post it here if you'll planning to pre-ride the race course this week. I may take a vacation day on Friday and might pre ride the course in the morning around 8 AM. I think my AKA Gc will pre ride too this Friday. |

I hope that the racecourse are already well marked by Friday..planning also to go there on Friday morning. I hope so too but if not I know ringwood trails pretty well. |

I'm not sure if i'll be a participant on this one for I already am on fallen leaves ride mode. I may just come to support and cheer on the crew.
PS Ratchet, I may be able to give you a lift on Sunday if I decided to go. Otherwise I'm sure another one of our tribesmen will gladly give you a ride.

Leaf Blower Race course map 2009 BTW, for the sake of our team please post it here if you'll planning to pre-ride the race course this week. I may take a vacation day on Friday and might pre ride the course in the morning around 8 AM. I think my AKA Gc will pre ride too this Friday. Right on Jon!!! Importance of posting before riding: 1. Encourages other members to go out and ride. 2. Safety in numbers. 3. Somebody can call for help just in case something bad happens. 4. Socialization. 5. Riding and chatting with a group is way better than riding alone. 6. Training with a partner/group becomes more challenging and fun ;D ;D ;D Just my two cents !!! |

You are 100% right prancing! I really think that this group will improve and accomplish a lot more if we improve our camaraderie. As a MTB rider/racer we all wants to get better so if we can why not train together. Remember we all wears the same team jersey. And like what Prancing horse said it will be much safer to ride with someone just in case something bad happens somebody can call for help. So let's start posting our rides. just my two cents too!!! ;D ;D ;D |
