There are so many aftermarket bottom bracket out there; Blackspire, Chris King, FSA, Hope, Easton, Race Face, Truvativ, Token, and Wheels Manufacturing etc, etc, etc.
It always amazes me how one can improve an already great XTR Shimano Hollowtech II BB. Many miles had past and my XTR bearings still running smoothly. Today, my Hope ceramic BB arrived. Ceramic bearings are rounder, smoother than steel and is lightweight. The Hope ceramic bb is a work of art. It weighs in at 99g and totally made of aluminum and looks truly nice. It has the bling! It is too bad it will disappear once installed in the bike. That's what we want isn't it? It probably will not make me any faster but it would make me feel better. It is all in the mind. Just can't wait to install it.

nice work buddy.. dont worry, its not only you who knows you have a ceramic bling under your crankset.. all the guys in the forum knows it. And its our little secret. ;D ;D ;D you should take a pics of it installed too. LOL. ;D ;D ;D
