There are only 3 steps to clean it. Step 1 Open or break the SEALED ceramic bearing Step 2 Take out all ceramic bearing 1 by 1 Step 3 Dip all bearings on the electronic jewelry cleaner until shinny clean * if it doesnt work, buy a new SEALED ceramic bearing and repeat Step 1 to 3 hehehehehehehe........ ;D

AHHH! OK! it really cleans your stuff like a precious metal hehe!...I'm going to the old traditional way , my old toothbrush and a wash cloth , low-tech but it works or this park tool they gave me from the last race (The Leaf Blower) you don't need to remove the chain and sprocket , done and have it look shiny in 5 min.

Talking about thread revival. After many miles, bearings needs TLC. Removing bearing seals and adding grease is not good enough for me. We are talking about complete overhaul. That is: bearing extraction, cleaning (hint:electronic jewelry cleaner wash), scrubbing, drying, dipping in light oil, greasing and finally re-installation. Whew! Feels like new again. Having tools makes things easier and quicker. LBS if you are not a DIYer. Some tools to consider. www.enduroforkseals.com/id176.htmlI used this one and 30mm works for most hubs. 3 hammer whacks and bearing comes out. Easy? Yes. Mp3 player to show scale
