I allready went to the palce yesterday. the trail its really nice a combination of all trail the had been in . BTW trail its well mark

I will probably go see a friend in Garrison after the race and you're probably on bambino standby so maybe we'll take separate cars. I'll call you later. |

A summary of yesterday's event below. Good riding Sergio and Kenny! Our new press photographer(kennys girlsfriend was both hired and fired yesterday  ) Very nice trails. We should definitely make an effort to bring the tribe and explore more of the park. For some reason the direct image link did not work today so go to s301.photobucket.com/albums/nn55/VikingLIC/Dark%20Horse%20Gallop%20June%2015%202008/ to see some pics 1.This is gonna be fun! ;D 2.Do I have enough water? 3.These guys look kind of serious… 4.I should have put a sixteen cog in the back! The course is fast! 5.15 miles is just like two and a half CHP laps! 6.GO!!!!!! 7.Hey guys! Relax! Remember it’s TWO laps! 8.This is just the prolog? 9.Crap! I have to do climb this hill three times? 10.Whatever happened to smell the flowers?  11.Definitely should have slept more than five hours. 12.I seriously think a spandex outfit would make me faster 13.If BIGBOY catches up on the first lap I might cry  14.What’s the point of this again? 15.15 miles here is nothing like two and a half CHP laps 16.Why didn’t I just enter beginner and be done by now?  17.I should have put a twenty cog in the back… 18.….or ride a geared bike, moron! 19.If my bike breaks I can quit without shame 20.I have to train a lot more, a whole lot more! 21.Almost done!!! 22.Heeeeere’s BIGBOY? I’m not gonna lose him! 23.Oops, I lost him  24.Last climb and I’m done!  25.When’s the next race? I can’t believe I want to do this again! |

Congratulations guys!!!! not bad for first timers...
Hopefully the tribe can go next time and give support and maybe join the race too!!! who knows........
BTW, how fast were these guys going? if they were doing CHP what would be their time for 2 laps or 1 lap? just wanted to gauge the competition!!!

All I can say is there were 15 to 16 people faster than our best horses in their race category . But then again they're probably familiar with that race trail. Viking and Bigboy are you guys joining the June 29 race in Andover New Jersey? |
