The course was intermediate so in this case I would say that knowing the trail probably had very little advantage, compared to CHP where knowing every twist, rock, root and turn really saves you time. There's no doubt some of those guys could do CHP in 28 minutes or less if they knew the trail. Doing the distance, 15 miles in this case, without stopping for BS after the first lap was a little different. I will try to do two or three consecutive CHP laps rather than put it all on the line for one fast lap to build stamina. Also, CHP does not have any climbs. I had to walk my bike in several sections during the race on the second lap. I need leg muscles ;D I'm away so don't think I will make the Andover. I will definitely do Ringwood and maybe Blue Mountain

wowoweee!!!! those guys are fast.... yup doing CHP two or three laps in a row in CHP will definitely improve your stamina or better yet train @ Stillwell where it has some climbs that can somehow push your limits. well, this racing is fun, exciting, challenging and I will definitely try to race atleast once this year..... more power to the tribe!!!!

Moe and I know what to expect in Ringwood so we definitely will participate the Ringwood race (beginners) this September. Ringwood is not technical but full of climbs so we really need to improve our stamina especially for people doing the two lap's sports category.
