Since I am officially on vacation from school and still unemployed, I am going to start riding officially on weekdays. If you are tired of work, on vacation, got laid off, unemployed or simply not doing anything, rejoice! WE can always hangout and ride bikes!
To start this thread, I am doing CP ride tomorrow Wed @10am to meet with fellow DTC. D.T.C. also known as Day Time Crew, which everyone in CLIMB tend to be envious about because they ride bikes while everyone is at work. ;D
Weekday rides are fun. Simple look me up!

Thanks guys. The CHP Christmas Eve ride was a great turnout I thought it was Saturday. It was great to see Spoe, OrangePatriot, The Westside boys (SS_Base and Liam), PrancingHorse, Jusluv2bike, Bike_Hiker, GregM, Moe, Giantmasta and last but not least nyczbubba. CHP Trails is in great shape. The grounds were frozen solid. A little rough at some parts because of the frozen ground. I missed the decorated tree. It was truly a fun ride. Slow at start and fast paced on 2nd lap. nyczbubba completely ripped-off his rear derailleur (see picture) and several guys including myself wiping out. That is what I'm talking about. I think I broke my personal record at 32:44min. Thanks for a great Christmas Eve workout guys!

The 59th Street bridge pedestrian/bike path is the closest I can get to a singletrack. 12/29 did a 10mile ride in the City. Surprisingly, Central Park is in great shape.

Jan 12, 2011: Yet another trip to the City. The wind is so strong and very cold. I will admit that I have been eating more than I ride lately. This weather truly sucks. I only saw 2-3 people on bikes today. Central Park is in great shape Central Park like it is West Side Bike and Pedestrian lane Just sharing the mlles. ;D

I tried to beat the rain yesterday and almost made it. Got a flat making a left from 34th Ave heading towards Manhattan. Front tire had a nasty tiny piece of glass and before I knew it there were liquid sealant all over. Nasty! I didn't have any tools or pump with me. Luckily, I was able to find a bike shop near a subway station. It took awhile for the sealant to work so I ended up taking the subway back. By the time the I got off the subway, tire sealed itself. ;D Some learning curve here for me.
