Jon: I thought you were following me after stopping for Moe. What happened to you Jon?!? I don't think your bike is ready to race that day because you keep stopping for the bottom bracket. Learn and live to come back a better racer. Yes, I was following you but when you made your move to pass riders I was stuck behind. I have no torque, I was spinning like a mad man, 20t cog is way too big and had a very hard time passing people on the flat, which 90% of the course was flat. My 2nd lap was a disaster. I stopped 2 very long time, not including the stop we did to help my boo on the first lap. When you saw me waiting on the side I was ready to call it a day with only one lap compleated. Moe don't have anything to help me so he said " I got nothing Jon, Bye!" So when I saw you I finally was relieved but the wrench you lend me was too short so i couldn't fixed my BB. After few more minutes and many racers passed by a bike patrol name "spartacus" in CLIMB stopped and lend me his tool. Fixed it and I started to catched most of the people that passed by but after 10 minutes, BB slipped again and my chained popped out. Waited on the sideline for Spartacus and we just chated and told me to take it easy. So I fixed it again but could not hammer anymore as if I put a torque I'm afraid the carver EBB will slipped again. So after that just took it easy and every pit stop I had to barrow bigboy's long 4mm wrench tool in his car and tighten my eccentric bottom bracket. Half way on my 3rd lap back brake started to make a very load noise and grinding sound, I stopped and found out my back break was rubbing against the disc, adjusted but the grinding and very loud noise were still there, I think my pads were shot. So I rode my 4th and 5th with only front breaks. But my biggest mistake was putting a 20t cog where I wasted my energy spinning on the flat and felt I wasn't moving at all. I don't want to mentioned it but since you asked, that was my story. lol! Congrats again Levi you did very well on your first wicked. I can't wait for next year.

Jon: Thanks! Glad you did not quit. A great job even with mechanicals! I am scared for next year. The hardship and pain still lingers. I still have lots to learn from everyone here. 52: You did a great job dodging the camera guys. The lens only see a blur. Good job! Rxr: You are so modest but thanks. No doubt you would have done great I am sure losing all that weight. You are not new to racing. Good job everyone!

Good times in Cathedral Pines. Happy to see everybody cranking out what they had.
Thanks for all the shout-outs too. Being called an animal and a monster made my Mom very proud! ;D

Good racing guys! Team Cadre did a great job organizing the race! Special thanks to Sergio, Rob and Jon for putting up the tent/banner. I arrived at the race site at @7:15am and they already have everything up! Needless to say, I had a great time yesterday. No massive cramping but lots of pain for just pedaling and sitting on the bike for 6hrs non-stop. Nevertheless, It was great hanging out with my fellow mtbNYCstyle racers and CLIMB friends. Hey Jon, I sent Tina the link to our thread. Until next time! I found this shot in Climb! photo taken by Tina Silverio...thanks Tina! You're very welcome Levi & the rest of YOU GUYS!! You were all H-A-R-D-C-O-R-E!! We're uploading more pix tonight at our website: Check them out and KEEP RIDIN'!!
