First of all congratulations to all of us that was a very tough one, 40 miles . Levi don't worry i'm sure Jon will help you on this one and we all know that you finished the race. And to Cincodos that is bad luck right there, next time don't bomb the DH to hard ;D ;D remember you're not using DH tires here ;D. I also have my share of badluck, luckily our leader Jontotman was there to help me. Again Jon thank you very much for helping me. Prance i saw you also have a soda can on your back pocket jersey. Soda+Orange juice+supplements= tae. And always remember to eat atleast 2-3 hrs before the race. You don't want to race with full stomach man, that is bad. Greg that is OMG, sorry to here about that. Is that you lynskie Ti frame?

@erwin, yep. My ti frame. I have to bring it to Roy's Sheepshead Cycles tomorrow. Hopefully, it's covered by the warranty.

As for Merlin's missing finish time. I gave Merlin the promoter's number this morning. Before noon his missing time is posted with the rest of the racers. Well done again guys!
Thanks for the pictures Merlin and Greg. I can't wait for Rob's picture too.
Greg, I'm sorry to hear about your frame. I hope they replaced it ASAP!

Thank you, Jon. At least I made it to where the photographer was. I think he snapped my picture just before I almost crashed onto a tree.

Guys you are the best!! Thanks for the ride, the good company and the cheering, and special Thanks to Danny!! I have to say that I had lotsss of fun... but before and after the race!! The first 20 miles were enjoyably tough, until the second lap came and slapped me on the face!! My arms were weak and my back was killing me. As a result of all that suffering, it is too soon for me to say that I'll come next year... Anywho, see you next race!!

Wow! what a race. DH40 was the toughest race I've ever done so far. It was a lot of fun. My only disappointment was me getting a flat caused me to fall behind 15 minutes. Then cramps!!!!! Anyhow, I managed to finish the race. Congratulations to all members! Great job! See you guys next year. I already signed up. Lol! Nice pics. Thanks.

+1 That's happened to me with massive cramping to all my leg muscles. Lia, Jon and Erwin saw me on the side of the trail. It was so bad, my muscles are still sore. I can feel the soreness when trying to sit up from the coach. How do you prevent cramping? Train harder before the race? Thanks to all and congrats to the racers for finishing, it was hard very hard I started strong the fist lap and them 5 miles into the second lap bump I hit the wall big time my legs lock on me so many times I was glad when I cross the finish line. Congratulations to all. I'm just glad I was able to finish. This one was a tough one for me since its my first race ever and I wasn't that prepared as far as what food to bring during the ride. I was expecting some bars and fruits on the stops, good thing I have a power bar in my hydration pack and that kinda kept me going until the end. I would like to thank you all for the support, most especially Jon for keeping the group on the right track. Keep it up. Had a great time. @ Rob, thanks for the Adobo, da best. Expect a call from me soon.
