Any tips for us fully rigid riders? DH40 race course is a single speed and fully rigid friendly. My only tip is to have fun and enjoy the event. I'm sure it will be torture for all of us riding 40 miles but finishing the race or even doing just 20 miles is a big accomplishment. Oh yeah and having an ice cold cervezas and BBQ after a long race in hot summer day is PRICELESS. ;D Thank you, Jon! See you all on Sunday! This should be fun. I will see you on Sunday Greg.

Me and my friend Phil did another pre-ride today and it was nice and cool 87*F! I think we are in for a treat on Sunday. Just an FYI if you guys wants to pre-ride, the race course is 99.9 percent marked. NOTE: Everyone who did the first pre-ride, there were slight modifications on the race course. They eliminated the steep drop and added some detours here and there. I should have the file in my GPS which I will upload soon. Overall, it is a much flowing safer course. Hey! I thought this course wasn't supposed to be technical?! Looking forward to the GPS upload. Thanks, Levi.

Yup today was truly a nice day to ride Stewart Forest. Here is the addition to the ride that the first pre-ride missed. It was rather a large bowl. Mike on top of the bowl Mike in the middle gaining momentum for the climb back up Mike at the top. Well executed. What is that white blur. Nice bike!

Good move Merlin. As for other fellow racers, if you have a tent you can always camp out in backyard and save yourself an hour sleep. ;D
Don't forget to get there early to get a good parking spot. The packet pick up opens at 6:30 AM and close promptly at 8:30 AM, race starts at 9 AM.
Don't forget to buy your power juice, extra chain link, back up tubes, co2 cylinder etc. etc. ASAP.
Bigboy and I will bring our canopy so we will have two. I suggest that we should bring our own chair as we gonna need it after riding 40 miles. ;D The promoter will serve beer and bbq but i will probably bring few ice cold beer as we may encounter a long line for the keg.
Good Luck to all and I will see you on Sunday.
